I would like to take the time to state my endorsement of the Materials 6.0 software package. After evaluating at least 6 software packages that are currently on the market, we decided to use Materials 6.0. We found it to be the most user friendly and flexible of the competition.

After using the software for two years, I have found that the software design was compatible with tracking assets for a $ 300 Million Drilling and Production Project. The data entry was easy to facilitate and the report writing has a customized option that is easy to work with. Although, the data base continually grew, the speed of the lookups were exceptionally quick. Additionally, the e-mail option was a valuable tool in sharing information and data. However, the biggest asset to using the program is being able to scan source documents into the data screens. What this means is that an auditor doesn’t have to go to a file cabinet to retrieve source documents. The source documents and correspondence is available on the screen.

As far as I know, no other software package can provide the individual flexibility and document retrieval options that are available through Materials 6.0. User support was quick, and easy to install. In most cases fixes, or custom modifications were done within two (2) hours.

I would not work another Material/Logistics Drilling or Production operation without it.

Excellent performance, due to the high calibre of Schenker personnel & the Electronic Materials control system SKOLMS.
SKOLMS certainly did a good job as did the co-ordinators in charge of running with it
