4. ‘SKOLMS 1.4’ Detailed Description

4. 1.Main Menu & Toolbar
When the user log
into the system, the start up menu is displayed
and menu options are allowed according to
user access ( The user access is configured
by the System Administrator through "User
Programs & User's access" options
in the "Configuration" menu ). Since
the system can hold mutiple databses, user
should can select the database to log in.
The user can also select the language to use
during this session and all windows, messages
& printouts will change accordingly.
Once the user login,
a check in the actions is performed and the
Todo
log is displayed if user
has some actions outstanding. from within
this log, user can open the selected documents
by a simple doubleclick on the action line,
export the log to an Excel Spread sheet or
print it using the log buttons.
The Menu
Toolbar will remain visible
during the whole session and will enable user
to shortcut many modules in the system ( New
Report, Exixting Reports, Save, Close, Print,
Cut, Copy, Paste, Undo, Redo, Modify or Add
Printouts, Batch Print, etc.. )

4. 2. Edit Menu
The edit
menu allow information interchanging between
'SKOLMS 1.4' and different windows applications
or other 'SKOLMS 1.4' applications running
in different windows stations. The Copy, Cut
& Paste features will avoid user to retype
the same information's twice.

menu enclose purchase
orders, requisitions, invoices & files.
